A Product Portfolio

A set of vessel designs on ceramic: a tall cup, a round plate and a bowl, their surfaces hand-painted with landscapes and starfields. The proposal keeps both the earliest sketches spread across the desk and the neon line art, and follows through to photographs of the glazed, fired pieces. In this three-person team I was responsible for the forms of the vessels and for the painted surfaces (drawing and coloring), so the sketches, the line art and the finished glazed pieces all sit inside one visual language.

Collaborators: Zhang Ruxuan and Zhang Zhaoyi. A three-person project; the design of the vessels and the painted surfaces (drawing and coloring) were chiefly Chen Qiushi's work.
