Calligraphy

My handwriting. Writing on paper is more honest than writing on a screen — one crooked stroke cannot be undone; the only fix is a fresh sheet. Here are seal script and clerical script: stretches of copying from the Cao Quan Stele, a poem from my class written out into a twenty-four-page album, and purely-for-fun things like Spring Festival couplets and bookmarks. In 2026 I held a charity sale of my own calligraphy; the proceeds went in full to the 'Love Parcel — Dreaming Childhood' project.

2Seal Script My earliest script practice: even lines, balanced forms.

3Clerical Script Copying the Caoquan Stele — sweeping starts, firm finishes.
